Keuka Outlet Trail –  Built on the track bed of the old Fall Brook Railroad (1884-1974), the trail is 7.0 miles long and runs between the village of Penn Yan on Keuka Lake and Dresden on Seneca Lake. The shared-use trail is open to the public year-round between sunrise and sunset. Activities include hiking and other forms of foot-travel (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing), bicycling, horseback riding, dog-walking. Fishing and paddling on the creek. Snowmobiling allowed during winter months on the Friends’ section of the trail.

Finger Lakes Museum – a developing initiative that will showcase the cultural heritage and ecological evolution of the 9,000-square-mile Finger Lakes Region. The Museum sites will be located in the 620-acre Keuka Lake State Park (which is directly across the lake from Lady of the Lakes Suites) and in a 13-acre educational campus a mile away in Branchport, NY.

Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance – founded in 1919.  Promotes the Finger Lakes Region as a tourism destination. Website is chockful of info on the Finger Lakes area categorized by “Things to Do”, “Places to Stay”, “Area Services”, “About the Region”, and “Group Travel”.

~  “Life in the Finger Lakes” magazine – “A magazine that reintroduces its readers to this special New York State region each passing season.” The publication focuses on the region’s scenic beauty, culture, wildlife and current trends. Published spring, summer, fall and winter.

Summer in a Glass: The Coming of Age of Winemaking in the Finger Lakes a book by Evan Dawson –  “..Dawson stitches together diverse portraits to compose a useful travel guide, lessons in Wine 101, and, most important, a reminder of what makes wine so alluring. ~ Waterfalls and Gorges of the Finger Lakes a book by Derek Doeffinger – The Finger Lakes region is an area of unusual beauty highlighted by a remarkable number of glorious waterfalls—some highly visible and majestic and others hidden and subtle—and these photographs are the result of years visiting and revisiting these falls, expertly capturing their changing faces with the changing seasons.
